The white sand beach of Pelada in the south with its bizarre rock formation that separates the beach from Boca de Nosara, the river mouth, has gorgious sunsets. This beach is not suitable for surfing!

Playa Ostional, located 3 miles north of Pelada, is famous for its arribadas? Every month between July and February, thousands of Olive Ridley turtles are landing here for 3 to 4 days to lay their eggs. This amazing event is an unforgettable experience.
